Why Shopify rather than something custom?

For most UAE retail and D2C brands, Shopify gets you to market faster and cheaper, and it handles the parts that are genuinely hard (payments, security, PCI compliance, uptime during a campaign spike) better than a custom build would. We reserve custom development for cases where the business model genuinely demands it. If Shopify is the wrong fit for what you are doing, we will tell you.

Can you set up cash on delivery and local payment methods?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and this matters more here than in most markets. Cash on delivery is still a meaningful share of UAE e-commerce, so we configure it properly with order verification to control fraud and failed deliveries. We also set up card payments through the gateways that work well regionally, and buy-now-pay-later options such as Tabby and Tamara, which lift average order value noticeably on higher-priced items.

Do you migrate an existing store?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We migrate products, variants, images, customer records, order history and content from WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, Squarespace or an older Shopify theme. The critical piece is redirect mapping so you do not lose the search rankings you already have, and we treat that as part of the job rather than an optional extra.

What is Shopify Plus and do we need it?

Accepted Answer

Plus is Shopify's enterprise tier, adding checkout customisation, higher API limits, multiple storefronts for different markets and dedicated support. It is worth it for high-volume merchants or brands running several regional storefronts. Most growing UAE brands do not need it yet, and we will say so rather than upselling you into a tier you cannot use.

Can you help with delivery and logistics integration?

Yes. We connect the couriers commonly used across the Emirates so orders, labels and tracking flow automatically instead of being copied by hand. We also set up delivery zones and rates for Dubai, the northern Emirates and GCC shipping, which is usually where margin quietly leaks if it is configured carelessly.

Will the store be set up to rank in search?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Technical SEO is part of the build rather than something sold separately: clean URL structure, product and collection schema, fast image delivery, proper metadata and a site architecture search engines can crawl. We can also take on ongoing content and SEO work if you want to compete for category terms rather than relying on paid traffic.
